A Lot Of Galle!
The Oakwood Singers' first CD, A Lot Of Galle!*, was released in April 1997. This collection of madrigals and country songs from and in the tradition of Renaissance England is fashioned to delight fans of folk and fancy alike. The CD opens with "Let Union Be," a jolly invitation to the festivities. The Oakwoods then take the listener on a journey through various stages of life and livelihood that leaves one sated, yet somehow yearning for more. The atmosphere is one of good companions sharing fond memories and fine spirits, as in the album's closing lyrics: Let's drink and be merry, all grief to refrain, A Lot Of Galle! is available wherever The Oakwood Singers perform. We're sorry, but this product is no longer available from The Jester's Court.
