A Following Wind
Here, the dulcimer is joined by a Celtic "orchestra". Richly arranged tunes from many Celtic regions:the Shetland Islands, Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales, New England and Brittany. Additional instruments used at various points throughout this musical travelogue include fiddles, cello, oboe, recorder, Irish pennywhistle, guitar, octave mandolin, tenor banjo, and the medieval Welsh bowed lyre called the crwth, as well as various bits of percussion: bodhran, dumbek, bones, side drum, and tambourine.
