The Oakwood Singers

(a.k.a. South Coast Consort)

The Oakwood Singers are a vocal group based in Southern California. The group was founded by Craig Davis in 1982 at the Renaissance faire in Agoura, California.

Ever mindful of their motto "We Sing, Therefore We Are!" the Oakwoods have developed a loyal following for their renditions of magical madrigals, frothy folk songs, and randy rounds of Renaissance England. They have performed at music festivals and other venues in and around Southern California, and have been heard in exclusive performance on KUSC-FM in Los Angeles.

In April 1997, The Oakwood Singers' released their first CD, A Lot Of Galle!.*

For booking and other information about The Oakwood Singers, please contact Chris Peterson.
The Oakwood Singers are:
Carol Bartold, alto
Carolyn Bassler, alto
Craig Davis, tenor
Adrien Lowery, soprano
Chris Peterson, bass
Nadine Ramnath, soprano
Eric Tolladay, bass

*Although the Oakwoods will admit to exploiting the double meaning, this is not a synonym for chutzpah. For an explanation, please see the notes on the CD.
