Musicians & Instruments
John MacAdams
John has recorded and played everything from convert-band music to bubble punk. He has performed on TV and in films. He also appears with the Irish group Craicmore.

  • 14 Remo field snare with Remo heads.
  • 1930’s Ludwig 14” marching snare with goatskin beads and gut snare, rebuilt 1997 by Warren Casey.
  • 20” Tenor tapan with goatskin heads.
  • Assorted percussion

Aaron Shaw
An award-winning piper, Aaron records for film, TV, and with artists Bonnie Raitt, Forest for the Trees, and others. He is a member of the L.A. Police Pipe Band. Aaron lives in Hollywood where he also teaches bagpipes.

  • Scottish Highland Bagpipes (1910–1913 Henderson drones with MacNulty reeds. Sinclair chanter with a McAllister reed).
  • Scottish small pipes made by Hamish Moore, convertible using the ‘A’ chanter.

Warren Casey
A folk drummer and dancer for over 20 years in styles as varied as Bulgarian, Macedonian, Irish and Scottish. Warren also builds many of the drums he plays.

  • 22” x 126” Bass tapan with goatskin heads, built 1997 by Warren Casey.
  • 18” Bodhran, built 1983 by Charlie Bryne in Thurles, Ireland.
