Scots Wha' Hae
A collection of songs by Robert Burns and more traditional Scottish songs.
Recorded at Pacific Coast Studios, Long Beach, California This is the first recording that I have made in the U.S.A. and I would like to thank all those musicians and engineers who were directly involved in the project; and also John MacRae for his rehearsal hospitality! Special thanks too must be extended to all the new friends that I have made within the Scottish-American community here in the United States. Their support and friendship is greatly appreciated. Track #7 is for my special friends Chris and Peggy Lamberton of the Saint Andrew Society of Southern California. Track #10 has always been a favorite of my one-in-a-zillion mother, Betty. Although many miles separate us, she is always close in my thoughts. The title track is dedicated to my fellow Scots the world o'er and to the independence of our dear country. |
