Tamarian Roberts
I've been a musician as long as I can remember, starting on the piano at the age of six and later moving on to such instruments as guitar, flute, voice, and hammered dulcimer, to name but a few. I started playing the harp in 1989, and thereafter dedicated myself exclusively (well, okay, almost exclusively) to the study of this fascinating and beautiful instrument.

Shortly before I picked up a harp, I had begun an interest in things Celtic. And what a surprise, these two things melded together seamlessly!

It has long been my theory that music should come from the heart. I do not play music I do not love; there must be something in it that catches and holds me. It must make me laugh or at least smile; it must make me cry. All of the songs on my album have done that.

It is my hope that they will do the same for you. They are what you would hear if you happened upon me playing at fair or wake, where I might chance to be. It is as close to a real live perfor mance as we could reasonably make it.

May the greatest joy of my life bring joy to yours. Slainte!
