The Waits Of Southwark
The Waits Of Southwark are a 5 piece instrumental group. Located in Southern California, they are seen and heard frequently on the street at regional fairs. They were formed less than two years ago, bringing together musicians interested in the same styles of music, namely Renaissance dance music from England, Ireland and Italy. Silence Is Deadly, their first joint effort, contains both Morris and country dance tunes. For those dancers among you, these songs are played with the correct number of repititions to perform the dance. Perfect for shows and/or rehearsals when your musicians are later - or even if they're not!
